Classes and other important rider info

Entry fees are $30 for the first adult class that is entered, and $25 for each additional class entry. (add $10/class for each class that it entered after practice starts) Youth classes are $25 for the first class entered, and $20 for each additional class entered. (add $10/class for each class that is entered after practice starts) Everybody entering the pits will have to purchase a pit pass. Pit passes are $15 for adults age 10 and over, $5 for kids 5-9, and free for riders under age 4 and under. Grandstand tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 5-9, and age 4 and under are free

All riders are automatically entered into the Mid-America points series. First place will receive a $50 certificate that can be used at a future event, second place receives a $30 certificate, and third place receives a $20 certificate. You must enter 51% of the the events to be eligible for a year end award.

From time to time, additional money is put into the purse by a sponsor or an individual. This money will be paid in addition to the amounts posted below. The business or individual putting up the money will determine how the money is paid out.

We offer a trophy buy back in all trophy classes. The payout amout varies with the number of entries. See payout chart posted below.

Age is determined by actual age on day of race

With the exception of the 50cc classes, all motorcycles must have a flat track or trials type tire on the rear wheel. Quads must have flat track type tires on the front and rear. Please note that the Duro HF245 ATV racing tire is not permitted, even though it is marketed as a flat track tire.

All motorcycles must have number plates on the front, and both sides. Quads must have a number plate mounted on the front, rear, and both sides. The rear and side number plates should be vertically mounted so that the number can be read from a distance of 75'. In place of a rear number plate, a rider can have his number on the back of his/her jersey.

Five riders required to make a class, if less than five riders are entered in a class, we may move those riders to a similar class based on age, ability, and equipment.

Classes

Adult Money Classes:

250cc Motorcycle: Four strokes and two strokes up to 250cc, age twelve and older. No age exceptions.
Open Motorcycle: Two or four strokes over 249cc. No speedway bikes, must be twelve or older to ride a 250, and fourteen years or older to ride a 450 or larger. 
450cc+ Motorcycle: Four strokes 450cc and larger, and two strokes 251cc and larger. No speedway bikes, must be fourteen years or older .
Adult Quad Open 249cc+: Must have flat track type tires, no knobbies, no exceptions! Please note that the Duro HF245 ATV tire is not permitted, even though it is sold as a flat track tire. Minimum of 16 years old.
Speedway: Speedway motorcycles, no brakes, rear suspension, or transmission running on methanol. Minimum of 16 years old for a 500, 13 for a 200cc machine.

Youth Trophy Classes:

50cc Shaft: Riders aged 4-8, on shaft drive motorcycles. Stock tires are permitted. Suzuki JR50's are permitted in this class. Stock oil injection must be used, and can only contain two stroke oil. 
50cc Chain: Riders aged 4-8 on chain drive motorcycles. Stock tires are permitted. 
65cc Youth: Two strokes, riders aged 7-11. 
85cc Youth: Two strokes, riders aged 7-15.
80-160cc Youth: Four strokes only, riders aged 9-15. Must be at least 11 years old to ride a CRF150. 
80-200cc Youth: Two or four strokes, riders aged 7-15. Must be at least 11 years old to ride a CRF150.
Youth Quad: Riders aged 6-15, 0-90cc two stroke, or 0-125cc four stroke. (run together).

Adult Trophy Classes:

Mad Dog: 80cc-200cc, air cooled, riders aged 15+.  Please note that we are allowing stock Honda CRF 230's and Yamaha TTR 230's in this class.
Dirt Divas: Ladies aged 12 and over as of January 1, 2010, 200cc displacement limit, air cooled machines only. No entry fee for this class.
250 Mod Amateur: Open to any rider on a 250 or larger motorcycle that never held a professional flattrack license. Must be 12+ to ride a 250, and 14+ to ride a 450 or larger motorcycle. Amatuers only! 
Vintage Light 100-350cc: Motorcycles 1983 and older.
Vintage Heavy 351cc+: Motorcycles 1983 and older.
Vet 30+: Any rider aged 30+ on a flat track motorcycle. No Quads or speedway bikes.
Senior 50+: Any rider aged 50+ on a flat track motorcycle. No Quads or speedway bikes
Super Sr 60+: Any rider aged 60+ on a flat track motorcycle. No Quads or speedway bikes
Adult Quad 0-400cc: Must have flat track type tires, no knobbies, no exceptions! 400cc limit. Please note that the Duro HF245 ATV tire is not permitted, even though it is sold as a flat track tire.Minimum of 16 years old. 
Adult Quad 401-450cc: Must have flat track type tires, no knobbies, no exceptions! 450cc limit. Please note that the Duro HF245 ATV tire is not permitted, even though it is sold as a flat track tire. Minimum of 16 years old.
